Chandler, Ariz., (March 20, 2013) — The World Fighting Federation (WFF) brings its Mixed Martial Arts show to Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino in the Ovations LIVE! Showroom on Fri., April 19 at 8pm. Doors open at 7pm.
World Fighting Federation X will feature Olympic Gold Medalist turned MMA fighter Henry Cejudo making his Phoenix debut. Cejudo is currently 1-0 and most veteran MMA watchers predict he will be the world champion in his 135 weight division before his career ends.
Cejudo is a freestyle wrestler, Olympic gold medalist, mixed martial artist and author of the book “American Dream” that chronicles Cejudo’s story from childhood adversity to Olympic Gold. Cejudo became an Olympic gold medalist at just 21 years old, the youngest American wrestler in history to win a gold medal. And, on March 18, he appeared as a guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
“We have been watching Henry for months and know he is going to be a superstar in the Mixed Martial Arts world and we are so glad to bring him to Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino,” Thom Ortiz, founder of the WFF said.
